     Dear friend,

     The hard time for American taxpayers is over now, but not for all. There are people taking their extensions. If you belong to this group, the product offered here perhaps might be still useful for you. There are a lot of different kind tax helpers and very good helpful tax software. Well, I am not going to compete them, because I just cannot and don’t want.

Tax Functions - program

     The program may serve as a small supplement to a well developed tax program if you have one. In similar way if you purchased a powerful electric drill you still keep simple hand ones. Right?

     So what my program does?

     When you have a figure for your calculated or estimated taxable income, the program immediately returns the tax for all four categories of taxpayers and for corporation as well for sake of comparison. If the taxable income is in the range of tax table, the values of taxes, returned by the program, is exactly the same as in 2007 tax table. Otherwise, beyond the tax table range, the program calculates taxes following simple formulae in corresponding IRS instructions. Therefore you do not need now and then surfing the sizeable tax table to check what is the value your tax came up to.

You do not trust tax programs or somehow do not like them and prefer calculating your taxes yourself with simple calculator or a spread sheet program (e.g. MS Excel as I do)

     The program is of seasonable value, of course. But yet for estimating purposes it may be still useful, because USA taxes from year to year did not differ significantly (so far). Moreover I plan, God willing, updating the package for the year 2008. People who purchased the package now will enjoy a discount (about 15% or so) for updated version. The whole package intended first of all taxpayers of the USA and all other curious people interested in USA taxation.

     The author, i.e. I, is not a tax specialist of any kind, no way, but rather a regular taxpayer with some scientific background in physics and math and experience in tax filing year by year for a small artistic home business.
